Research Summary

Our group recently published that post-prandial T cells have enhanced function in non-cancerous and cancerous settings. Broadly, my current project aims to build off that observation and iinvestigate the impact of short-term nutritional status on the anti-tumoral T cell response following treatment with immunotherapy in solid tumors.

Career Goals

The long-term career goal is to run an independent research lab investigating key immune-metabolic regulatory axes within the tumor microenvironment of different GI malignancies (with an emphasis for pancreatic cancer) plus a clinical footprint in GI Medical Oncology.
