How was the Physician Scientist Incubator valuable to you in your research and overall career goals?

The BWF incubator program was an excellent asset to my personal and professional development. I credit the program with helping me further develop skills in critical analysis of scientific writing, which is vital to both clinical practice and the research setting. The ability to get feedback from the other BWF fellows was helpful in growing my own scientific writing and presentation skills. Furthermore, the incubator curriculum includes training on important intangibles and often-missed topics, such as networking/collaboration skills, maintaining good mental health, and pathways to academic advancement. Overall I think it was an excellent experience and I would recommend the program to any physician-investigators.
