Research Summary

My work examines the role of T cells and cytokine expression in lung physiology and disease. Specifically, I wish to investigate the interaction between T cells, fibroblasts, and the extracellular matrix in chronic lung allograft dysfunction.

Career Goals

My goal is to become a physician scientist with both clinical and research focus on lung transplantation. I hope to run a basic-translational lab investigating the mechanisms behind chronic lung rejection. My clinical work currently involves the management of patients both pre- and post-lung transplantation, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
