Education & Training
My research focuses on alloimmune regulation and the development of strategies to promote transplant tolerance in experimental models and human clinical trials. Additionally, I have a strong interest in the application of next-generation cytometric/genome-based technologies as well as computational biology approaches to studying immune cell populations and pathways.
My goal is to become a liver transplant surgeon-scientist at a high-volume transplant academic center. In addition to fulfilling my clinical responsibilities, I aim to lead a translational research laboratory specializing in using cutting-edge technologies to advance the field of transplant immunology. It is my wish to be both highly productive and innovative in my career to be able to implement scientific discoveries towards improving the outcomes of clinical liver transplantation.
