Research Summary

My research interest is to identify biologic markers of neuropsychiatric symptoms in Alzheimer Disease. These markers can then be used to develop improved animal models in which to test the ability of candidate pharmacotherapies to engage therapeutic targets and induce alterations in aberrant behaviors.

Career Goals

My career goals are to run my own laboratory at an academic medical center studying basic mechanisms of neuropsychiatric symptoms in dementia while maintaining an active role as a clinician in psychiatry. Watch the video below.
