Coaching Summary

Dr. Wendell has leveraged his experience as a trained professional Coach to develop a personalized and adaptable career coaching approach focused on individuals’ unique strengths to facilitate adaptability and non-cognitive skills in advancing their careers. He is the co-recipient of a prestigious Harnisch grant through the Institute of Coaching to study the impact of individualized career coaching on outcome measures including the Career Adapt-Ability Scale (CAAS).  Dr. Wendell has developed and provided a comprehensive coaching curriculum to Pitt’s new Biomedical Master’s Program and has led or overseen coaching in several NIH funded projects including a component of the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN), R25 (LEADS), and the University of Pittsburgh CTSI.
